[dflip id=”10152″ ][/dflip] An article on the neighborhood known as Somersville. It was located in what was East Germantown at the intersection of Church Lane and Limekiln Pike. Early references indicate that, at the turn of the 20th century, it was a village of 38 homes. It was authored by LeRoy Council (at the time it was written, aged 52) and a lifelong resident of the section of Germantown.
