Historic Fair Hill: Beacon Theater Production of Hatshepsut

Beacon Theater Production will be putting on their new play Hatshepsut, the true story of a female Egyptian pharaoh who was erased from history. It’s a story of the importance of remembering our history today.

Join us for a production about ancient Egypt, specifically a female pharaoh named Hatshepsut.  She was an amazing pharaoh but after her reign, the next pharaoh erased her name off of all the statues and monuments.  She was erased from history and we did not know she existed for over 3000 years! This is also a story of the importance of remembering our history today.
