Partnering with the Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia, ten of our Historic Germantown member sites, and many local experts, this is a fascinating look into the history of some of the most iconic sites across Germantown. These tours connect you directly to the sites of the Battle of Germantown, the Underground Railroad, and more.

Meet the historic figures and current personalities who have shaped Germantown and the nation. Collect stamps at each site and learn their fascinating stories, connecting the past to our future. April – October 2026 | Over 50 Evenings of Fun
Experience the beauty of our historic sites in a new light. Seventeen cultural institutions welcome you to their gardens and green spaces during special early evening hours (5 PM – 7 PM) for relaxed, community activities. Enjoy BYO picnics, lawn games, nature crafts, mindfulness sessions, and specialized garden tours. It’s the perfect way for families and evening visitors to enjoy Germantown’s historic outdoor spaces.

In 2026, the 20 sites of the Historic Germantown Consortium will offer a multitude of fun and intellectually stimulating events. Film screenings, roundtable discussions, art exhibits, house tours, hands-on workshops, dinners, wine tastings, academic lectures and more.
