(February – November)  

Dive deep into the local history, architecture, and untold stories of the neighborhood with guided tours launching every season. Partnering with the Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia, ten of our Historic Germantown member sites, and many local experts, this is a fascinating look into the history of some of the most iconic sites across Germantown. These tours connect you directly to the sites of the Battle of Germantown, the Underground Railroad, and more.

Stamp Rally: Trees of Germantown  

(April – June)  

Historic Germantown’s 2026 Spring Stamp Rally is focused on Trees of Germantown. Participants will have the opportunity to explore the neighborhood through a fun and interactive scavenger hunt.  

The Historic Germantown stamp rally booklet was created especially for visitors to find and explore all of the amazing greenspaces in the Historic Germantown consortium; showcasing the exceptional parks, arboreta, farms, cemeteries, gardens, and landscaped grounds. Fill out your stamp book by visiting different iconic Historic Germantown sites and earn the chance to win a prize! See the event page for additional details.

Firefly Hours   

April – October 2026 | Over 50 Evenings of Fun

Experience the beauty of our historic sites in a new light. Seventeen cultural institutions welcome you to their gardens and green spaces during special early evening hours (5 PM – 7 PM) for relaxed, community activities. Enjoy BYO picnics, lawn games, nature crafts, mindfulness sessions, and specialized garden tours. It’s the perfect way for families and evening visitors to enjoy Germantown’s historic outdoor spaces.

Second Saturdays   

(May Through October)   

Tours, events, and activities offered on the second Saturday of each month. The majority of sites are free and open to the public on Second Saturdays, make sure to check each site’s schedule before your visit.
