Event Details

Braving the River by Juana Parral is about two lands divided by a river. There is the Land of the Loud where we meet Sumit, a 9-year-old girl who wants to save her land but finds herself scared of the world around her. There is the Land of the Quiet where we meet Bodie, a 9-year-old boy, who wants nothing more than to escape the land of the quiet and face his fears. Filled with songs, interactive sensory materials for each audience member to experience the story as it is happening, and lots of magic, this new show is truly for the whole family. Each family will receive a box full of magical sensory props that will help to tell the story of the show! Everyone registered will receive a social story for the performance with more information about the show and ways to prep your family, along with the video of the cast introducing themselves prior to the performance! This email will also include an optional survey for any accessibility needs for our team to know. We have a Q & A below for common questions. However, if you have specific questions and/or accessibility needs, please email sarahgordin@phillychildrenstheatre.org. For Tickets Click HERE
