Do you want to tell your family’s story but aren’t sure where to start? Join Stenton and the Kislak Center for Special Collections, Rare Books and Manuscripts at Penn Libraries, for an interactive family archiving workshop!
Together, we’ll explore how to preserve fragile old photos, letters, and paper-based memorabilia that hold your family’s unique history. Our workshop will guide you step-by-step in organizing, describing, and protecting the treasures that tell your family’s story—so they can be shared with loved ones now and for generations to come.
Each group, of 1-3 people, will receive one free archiving kit to help you get started at home.
Space is limited for the archive workshop. Please RSVP to secure your spot.
FREE Stenton house tours are also available on the hour from 12:00 - 4:00pm every Second Saturday, from May - October.
