The exhibition celebrates the value of creativity and invention in today’s world, featuring 19 works on paper which illustrate the adventurous and often playful exploration of surface by contemporary artists.

The Art Museum is now open to the public with visits by appointment only. Though they are often busy with La Salle classes, they also welcome visitors from the community. Please call 215-951-1221 to schedule a quiet time to explore the galleries and to view the new exhibition. Note that masks are required in all buildings on La Salle University’s campus, following Covid-19 regulations. We hope that you will find time to visit the museum soon!

La Salle University Art Museum

The La Salle University Art Museum opened its doors in 1976 as a place for La Salle students, especially those majoring in art history, as well as for the communities in the surrounding areas, to experience art in an intimate setting. Currently, La Salle is the only university in the Philadelphia area to own a permanent display of paintings, drawings and sculptures from the Renaissance to the present. The collection is housed in a series of period rooms in the lower level of Olney Hall on the University’s main 1900 W Olney Ave Philadelphia, PA 19141
