Slow down and paint at your own pace during this self-guided plein air painting experience at historic Stenton Museum with Black Hippie Art. Set among old trees, open lawns, and historic architecture, participants are invited to explore the grounds and create directly from observation. This open-format workshop is designed for artists and art lovers of all levels who want to connect with nature, experiment freely, and enjoy the shared energy of making art alongside others. Bring your own materials, find a spot that inspires you, and take part in a relaxed, welcoming gathering that celebrates creativity, place, and community.

Join quilter and storyteller Mama Carla in the garden at Stenton for guided quilting and embroidery for all skill levels or bring your own project to work on alongside your neighbors.

Insect Investigators - Insects may be small, but they are hugely important to our ecosystems! From bees to flies to beetles, get ready to learn all about the insects that call Stenton home and why they matter during this guided outdoor exploration with Samantha Nestory, engagement manager and naturalist at Stoneleigh.

Not interested in programming? No problem! Stenton’s grounds will be open to all on these evenings. Come relax, unwind, and enjoy the greenspace.
