Come enjoy the beginning of autumn and being outdoors at Awbury Arboretum!
One place we can safely gather these days is outside. Although we cannot hold either our regular Autumn Social for members or the annual Harvest Festival at the Farm, this year Awbury is able to offer an Autumn Harvest Social.
The Autumn Harvest Social is an opportunity to visit one of three areas at the arboretum, each featuring a special fun activity for you and your family and friends:
(1) Live music at the Cope House (limited to 50 people, registration required)
(2) Circus Performers in the AdventureWoods (limited to 50 people, registration required)
(3) Sunday Fun Day at the Farm, featuring Family Photos with the Goats (no registration required)
Light refreshments will be provided by Peachtree Catering.
Guests are required to wear masks.

About the juggler: Zak McAllister is a performing artist based in Philadelphia and is a 2-time gold medalist in The World Championships of Juggling. He has also appeared as part of Wired Magazine’s “Almost Impossible” series as well as “Sports Science With John Brenkus” on ESPN. Zak is first and foremost known for his innovation within the realm of moving visual shapes. With over 10 years of experience, he has created a wide array of never-before seen unique shapes and manipulations.
About the stilt walker: Philadelphia based artist, designer, and performer Samantha Hyman has been practicing and performing circus arts for a decade. Inspired by the color and imagination of the circus, Samantha performs on stilts, hula hooping, dancing and smiling her way through public festivals, events and private affairs of all kinds. She designs and builds many of her costumes by hand and loves to bring joy to the world through this art form. (3) Sunday Fun Day at the Farm, take a Family Photo with the Goats
Meet the goats, visit with the chickens, go on a nature scavenger hunt, and enjoy the Farm at Awbury.
The Farm at Awbury is home to 16 different programs and partners featuring animals, bee hives, a food forest, vegetable gardens, ornamental plant nursery, pollinator garden and more.
Special activity: take a family photo with the goats!
