Event Details
Lisa Volta is a multi-media artist whose work investigates waiting and passage and asks, “How much longer?” as we watch things grow, decay, transform, or reach their threshold. Lisa thinks about time speeding up, slowing down, standing still, time managed and wasted, and wonders about the long-term effects of time and the uneasy questions that come with it.
An exhibition of Lisa’s work, entitled, Holding My Breath Underwater, will be on view in Awbury’s Cope House Gallery from March 1st – April 28th, 2024. The gallery is open to the public free of charge Mondays through Thursdays, 10:00am- 4:00pm.
A reception for the exhibition will be held on April 13th from 2pm – 4pm. This event is free and open to the public, no registration is required. Artwork will be available for purchase – to inquire, please contact artcommittee@awbury.org. All proceed support Awbury Arboretum’s mission.
