You are invited to a digital show and tell to discover fascinating stories of Germantown Black History. Hear from Museum Directors of the Johnson House and Lest We Forget Museum of Slavery part of the Historic Germantown consortium, as they share stories from the archives to our modern day.

 African Americans have a mighty story to tell as anchors of communities in Germantown, a majority Black Neighborhood. Join local elected officials and neighbors near and far for an educational presentation to dig deeper into the advocacy of African Americans, with a strong history of activism, abolition and freedom seeking from the Victorian era to modern day. Celebrate Black History month in Freedoms Backyard!
