Looking for help with back to school supplies? Philly families are invited to the 14th Annual Back to School Backpack Giveaway organized by the 6300
Germantown Avenue Business Alliance on August 19th! They’ll be giving away backpacks filled with school supplies to elementary, middle, and high school students until they run out. There will also be treats and fun educational activities for the kids, including exploring an 18th century schoolhouse and making, writing, and illustrating their own books (supplies provided.)

Concord School House and Upper Burying Ground
Established in 1693, the Upper Burying Ground is one of the two oldest cemeteries in Germantown and one of the oldest in the Philadelphia region.
